35mm High Definition Video

Our 35mm High Definition Video combines the ease and low-cost of video with the look and depth-of-field of 35mm film. No Tomato Films uses the Redrock 35mm Adapter ( and high-quality Nikon prime lenses to achieve the most film-like images you are ever likely to capture on video.

Big and Small is a children’s television program currently in development by several international partners. This video was created to test the feasibility of using puppets as opposed to animation. It was shot on the Canon XL2, and composited in Adobe After Effects. Some of the compositing isn’t perfect because the video was created on an extremely tight deadline (less than 48 hours from shoot to finished project).

The Crawling Kingsnakes are a hot young band from Toronto. No Tomato Films was contacted to create an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) to help sell the band to a record label. Shortly after the EPK was completed, the band was signed to Fontana Records (a division of Universal), and they are on their way to stardom!

In May of 2006, Smirnoff Vodka released a hot new flavour called Smirnoff Fire. No Tomato Films took part in their viral add campaign by visiting night clubs and filming dancers for the How Hot R U? Contest.

After completing The Crawling Kingsnakes’ EPK, No Tomato Films was asked to re-edit their recently completed music video directed by Kaan Akalin ( The music video was excellent to being with, but at the request of the band, we came in to re-edit the finished video before it airs in August, 2006.
